Howard Payne University Yellow Jackets

2007-08-Hope started all 33 games for Howard Payne in their National Championship year. She averaged 6.5 points per game and was second on the team in rebounding with 6.3 per game. Her high that season came against McMurry with 18 points and in rebounding against Concordia with 12 boards. 

2006-07-As a freshman averaging 15.6 minutes per game, Hope put up an average of 4.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Her season highs came against Concordia with 11 points and against Schreiner with 11 rebounds. As a result of her contribution as a freshman at Howard Payne, she received the honor of Freshman All Conference Team. 

HS-Hope graduated from Priddy High School of Priddy, Texas in May of 2006 where she was on the 2003 State Championship team and Texas Cup Championship team. She received Most Valuable Player (3 years), All Region and All State honors. 

Personal- Hope is a double major with Criminal Justice and Psychology. She is also the sweetheart of Iota Chi Alpha. She is the daughter of Kevin and Sharron Hohertz and has two sisters.
