Jacket Tennis Headed To Conference Tournament

BROWNWOOD, Texas - After finishing in a three-way tie for second place in the American Southwest Conference West Division standings, the Howard Payne men's tennis team will be headed to the ASC postseason tournament this next weekend in Tyler, Texas.
Howard Payne, Hardin-Simmons, and Mary Hardin-Baylor all finished in a three-way tie for second place in the ASC West Division standings at 4-2. The ASC only takes the top three from each division. Howard Payne and Mary Hardin-Baylor through the ASC tie-breaking process will continue on at the ASC postseason tournament next weekend in Tyler, Texas.
The tournament will be hosted by the University of Texas at Tyler who won the ASC East Division this season. The Jackets who got a slow start to their season finished with a 7-9 overall record and was 4-2 in ASC play.
