Sutton Again Named Player Of The Week

RICHARDSON, Texas - The American Southwest Conference today announced its men's tennis players of the week and Howard Payne's Chris Sutton was given the honor for the second time this season.

Howard Payne senior Chris Sutton (Brownwood, TX / BHS) fueled a 3-0 week against ASC West Division competition by recording wins at No. 2 singles against Schreiner, Sul Ross State and Hardin-Simmons. Sutton, who takes the division's top weekly honor for the second time this season, also teamed with Raymond Borjas for a pair of wins at No. 2 doubles. Sutton did not drop a set in singles and also helped the Yellow Jackets deal HSU its first division loss.
