Five Lady Jackets Named Academic All-Conference

RICHARDSON, Texas –– The American Southwest Conference has recognized 86 student-athletes as Academic All-Conference award recipients in men's and women's basketball for the 2009-10 season, the league office announced on Monday (March 15). Howard Payne's Elaine Hobbs, Abby Parmelly, Katy Sarem, Tiffany Warner, and Brittany Zamora were honored on the list.

Katy Sarem Jr. Exercise and Sport Science Helotes, TX 

Tiffany Warner Jr. Communications Joshua, TX 

Brittany Zamora So. Exercise and Sport Science Cedar Park, TX

To be eligible for ASC All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have lettered in the 2009-10 season, be in at least the second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 or better.
