Two Jackets Named Academic All-Conference

RICHARDSON, Texas –– The American Southwest Conference has recognized 86 student-athletes as Academic All-Conference award recipients in men's and women's basketball for the 2009-10 season, the league office announced on Monday (March 15). Howard Payne's Brit Campbell and Brandon Irwin were Academic All-Conference award recipients.

Brit Campbell So. Cross Cultural Studies Big Lake, TX 

Brandon Irwin So. Business Administration Thorndale, TX

To be eligible for ASC All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have lettered in the 2009-10 season, be in at least the second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 or better.
