SB Adds One More To 2010 Class

BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Howard Payne softball program announces another addition to the 2010 softball recruitment class.
“I am very excited to have Tori joining the HPU program next year,” said head coach Jose Mata. “She will fit in with our current players and our system very well.”
Tori Gomez was a four year starter at Pflugerville High School. Named First Team All-District as a freshman and junior, she was also named to the Eva Jo Fisher All-Tournament team.
Tori was honored as her team’s offensive player of the year as a freshman with a .393 batting average and was defensive player of the year as a junior.
Named Academic All-District for three years, she is also a recipient of the Lauren Thompson Memorial Scholarship. She plays select ball for the Texas Elite.
