Cantu-Curry ASC Offensive Player Of The Week

RICHARDSON, Texas - The American Southwest Conference announced on Tuesday its volleyball players of the week and Howard Payne's Amber Cantu-Curry was named ASC West Division Offensive Player of the Week.

Howard Payne junior setter/outside hitter Amber Cantu-Curry (South Padre Island, TX / Port Isabel HS) hit .526 with 12 kills, 24 assists, 15 digs and four service aces all in a thrilling five-game road win over conference opponent Concordia Texas. Cantu-Curry, who also added a block, helped the Lady Jackets climb out of a two-game deficit.
