2nd Annual Alumni Softball Game Set

BROWNWOOD, Texas – Head Howard Payne softball coach, Jose Mata, announced today that the program will host the 2nd Annual Lady Jacket Alumni softball game on October 3rd at 11:00 am.
The game will be played Saturday, October 3rd at 11:00 am at Jacket Field. Alumni players who are interested in playing are asked to contact Coach Mata at jmata@hputx.edu or 325-649-8970. Former players will need to send up to date information and a make contact with Coach Mata via email or phone. Confirmation of attendance by Sept 25th would be appreciated.
Starting its twelfth season, the Howard Payne softball program has had over 90 different players wear the HPU Blue and Gold. The program has an overall record of 189-193, won the American Southwest Conference West Division once, and has made the ASC postseason six times.
