Heline Now Twice ASC Player Of The Week

Temika Heline is a strong candidate for ASC West Division Freshman of the Year

RICHARDSON, Texas The American Southwest Conference today announced its weekly player of the week honors and Howard Payne freshman Tamika Heline was honored for the second time this season as the ASC West Division Offensive Player of the Week.

Howard Payne freshman outside hitter Tamika Heline (Spring Branch, TX / Smithson Valley HS) hit .373 and posted 27 kills and five service aces over seven sets to pace the Lady Jackets. Heline, who takes the division's top weekly offensive award for the second time this season, also added 30 digs, two blocks and one assist.
