In 2008, Coach Prock took over a HPU women’s program that went 33-0 and won the NCAA III National Championship. He continued the success with another American Southwest Conference title and a 23-6 record in 2008-09. Now after four seasons at Howard Payne, he has a 86-26 overall record, a ASC West Division title, and has won two ASC Championships. In 2011, he was named the ASC West Division Coach of the Year.

Joshua Prock, a veteran member of the Oklahoma basketball program, completed his third season in 2004-2005 as Director of Basketball Operations after serving as the team’s video coordinator during the Sooner’s 2001-02 Final Four campaign. During Joshua Prock’s seven years with the program, Oklahoma’s overall record was 178-56, including an Elite 8 appearance in 2003, and 3 consecutive Big 12 Tournament Championships. He was an integral part of the program including administrative duties, recruiting and coaching the team.

The native of Clovis, N.M., was responsible for handling the day-to-day administrative duties of the Oklahoma basketball office. He coordinated special projects and team travel, practice sessions, supervised OU teaching clinics and summer camps, and assisted with on-campus recruiting. After leaving Oklahoma he spent one season as an assistant at Kentucky Wesleyan University before his current position as an assistant at Ryan high school in Denton, Texas.

Prock came highly recommended by several Division I and Division II coaches including Sherri Coale, the head women’s basketball coach at the University of Oklahoma.
